Once you’ve put together your resume, the fun part begins. It’s time to start networking. Set up a special email account with gmail, yahoo or another provider that you use only for job searching.
Then, start posting your resume on commercial job boards and check your email account everyday. You’ll have to wade through some advertisements, but that’s the price of looking for a good job.
Sift through the chatter and use the Advanced Search features to look for interesting work, then apply and follow up.
