Eliminate Human Trafficing and Child Sexual Exploitation

Stewart and Carrie Jeske, of i3 Resources, have partnered with the Rock of KC and For The Silent to eliminate human trafficing and child sexual exploitation.   Please make a donation in any amount to support our efforts.   We are training for the 5 K Run… for the silent.

Run For The SilentHuman trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others. There are an estimated 27 million slaves in the world today, and human trafficking is the second largest illegal crime in the world.

Every year, an estimated 1.2 million children are trafficked for exploitation. Sex trafficking occurs when people are forced or coerced into the commercial sex trade against their will. Domestic minor sex trafficking occurs when any American child is involved in the commercial sex industry within the United States. Traffickers frequently target vulnerable youth with histories of abuse and low self esteem in order to exchange their bodies for cash. The trafficker uses psychological manipulation, false promises, lies, violence, threats, debt bondage, or other forms of control to keep victims from running away. Victims of trafficking are forced or coerced into various forms of commercial sexual exploitation including prostitution, pornography, stripping or other commercial sex acts. Sadly, the child is often labeled a “prostitute” by society and punished for the crime that was actually committed against them. However, they are not willing participants in their enslavement. They are not “prostitutes” but have been “prostituted.”
